Falling Stars

It was a fateful winter night The stars all fell that night And the night sky glittered Bathed in the light of  a million galaxies We all wished for them to stay While we were there on our rooftops with our 3 am partners  Wishing that all will stay As it is But times change and they change us as well The rooftops are empty today they are filled with despair And we are all lost In our own thoughts of love We try to be strong when our hearts are broke and memories of that night flood our minds A lonely star falls And we wish upon it For that lost night to return.

Darkness

The voices in my head
They scream and protest
Of the man I've become
I too was once free
And happy as any man
But at some point
Darkness crept inside
Of my hollow self
Burrowing through my heart
And creeping into my soul
Eating away all my happiness
And then just leave me
With nothing inside
It left just darkness
And took my light away.

Now I'm broken
Looking for a sliver of light
In this darkness
To take me back to the brightness
I stand here alone
To be taken
Ether by the light
Or by the darkness.

She want to fly on a lovely breeze, She want to sit in a windy park, On a summer night with someone, It is literally all she need. They met each other on an October night, Under the starry sky, they fell for each other, She gathered the dreams, He flew in the breeze, They left the demons far away, And they both got what they needed.

They used to be best of friends, They shared all their thoughts, She the endless chatter, He the perfect listener. They bond they shared was that of friendship, But still, both fell for each other, The chatter started to grow more interesting, And he listened all day long. Both wanted to tell how much they loved, Both were bound by fear, They thought that if love happen, Then their friendship will tear. They both are now happy, But not with each other, They are still best friends, But a speck of love still linger, But alas they can't tell each other, Cause they are bound with friendship's fear.
