Falling Stars

It was a fateful winter night
The stars all fell that night
And the night sky glittered
Bathed in the light of 
a million galaxies
We all wished for
them to stay
While we were there
on our rooftops with
our 3 am partners 
Wishing that all will stay
As it is

 But times change
and they change us as well
The rooftops are empty today
they are filled with despair
And we are all lost
In our own thoughts of love
We try to be strong
when our hearts are broke
and memories of that night
flood our minds
A lonely star falls
And we wish upon it
For that lost night to return.

Both wanted to tell how much they loved, Both were bound by fear, They thought that if love happen, Then their friendship will tear. They both are now happy, But not with each other, They are still best friends, But a speck of love still linger, But alas they can't tell each other, Cause they are bound with friendship's fear.
